We are always looking to recruit HPC Registered Paramedics and Technicians for our NHS Cat-A RRV 999 contracts and peak time event work. We have full and part time subcontract, full and part time employment, and bank positions available. Please refer to the requirements below and email us your CV.
Occasionally, regional specific and non-medical vacancies may become available. These career opportunities will be posted in the 'Current Vacancies' section of our site so be sure to check back regularly.
We offer great rates of pay, uniform, 24-hour online scheduling, free accommodation at our local bases, and a friendly working environment. While we strive always to offer the highest possible standards of care to our patients, and value for money to our clients, we try equally as hard to be a fun and stress- free organisation to work for. Our staff are very loyal to the company, hopefully because we in turn not only appreciate your skill level and patient dedication, but also you as a person! All of our management team are either Paramedics or Technicians, so we understand the trials and tribulations of the job from the top down (see the ‘our staff’ section).
Please read the description below and if this sounds like you, and you like the sound of us, then please contact us. We would prefer you to contact us by email initially, enclosing a brief cover letter with an attached C.V.
If you are not online, please phone or write. All applications for NHS contract work should be sent to our Operations Director, Dale Wellington at:

You will be over 21 years of age. You will most likely have held your current qualification (ECP, Para or Tech) for at least three years, within the framework of the NHS ambulance service.
You will hold a full driving licence (preferably with a C1/D1 category) with fewer than 6 penalty points. You will be IHCD blue light or equivalent trained. You will have previous RRV experience or evidence of working as a sole responder.
You will be able to produce a current enhanced CRB background certificate, or will be willing to have this done. ***You will be a currently serving member of an NHS Ambulance Trust, or if you have left the Trust, you will have left in good standing. We are an equal opportunities employer, therefore if you have been dismissed, or a complaint or investigation passed or pending has occurred, this does not preclude you from applying, however we will obviously make the relevant enquiries (after obtaining your permission) and will review each case on its own merits.
You will be asked to attend an interview with our Operations Director, or a member of our management team, and will be required to bring relevant professional qualification documents and evidence of CPD with you. We will request that you provide us with three references. For all professional candidates, verification will also be sought from the appropriate registration body (HPC / IHCD / RCN /GMC etc).
Ideal candidates will be physically fit, of smart appearance, with a great sense of humour, caring disposition and with palpable empathy for patients.
*** We will accept applications from those outside the NHS framework, such as from experienced Army, Navy or RAF Combat medics. However, all Paramedic applicants MUST be HPC registered with the UK Health Professions Council, and all Technician equivalent qualifications (Combat Medical Technician – Non IHCD Technician Qualifications will be reviewed on merit) We do get a lot of enquiries from student paramedics and nurses, however we must stress that for our NHS 999 contract you have to be a fully qualified Emergency Medical Technician or Paramedic.
We do use First-Aid / ACA / Nurse / Student Paramedic qualified staff during the peak event season (summer) to work alongside our Paramedics and Technicians.
If you would be interested in this, please contact our Event and Projects Director, Sam Edmunds.
